Frogs
   
Frogs have been around since dinosaurs walked the earth. There are many kinds of frogs. All frogs are amphibians. They spend part of their lives in water. They spend part of their lives on land.
Frogs have bare skin with no hair. Most frogs have smooth skin. They have long legs and webbed feet. Frogs can be many colors.

Frogs live all over the world. Most live near water. Some live in cold places. They hibernate for the winter.
Frogs are meat eaters. They sit and wait for their prey to come near. Then they catch prey with their sticky tongues. Frogs eat animals such as worms and ants.
Most frogs lay their eggs in water. Baby frogs are tadpoles. They look like small fish. A frog’s average life span is 6.5 years.
