Sand
sharks
live
in
almost
all
the
oceans.

live
in

Arctic
Ocean
or
the
eastern
Pacific
Ocean.
Sand
sharks
usually
swim
in
shallow
water
near
the
shore.
But
they
can
dive
650
feet

m)
below
the
surface.
Sand
sharks
hunt
at
night.
They
hunt
near
the
ocean
floor.
They
eat
lots
of
fish.
They
also
eat
squid,
crabs,
and
lobsters.
Sometimes
sand
sharks
eat
smaller
sharks.
Sand
shark
eggs
hatch
inside
the
mother.
They
are
born
live
eight
or
nine
months
later.
Sand
sharks
are
able
to
swim
and
eat
right
away.
They
can
live
for
15
years
in
the
wild.
