Pythons
   
Pythons are often hard to find in the wild. Most pythons can swim. Many can climb trees. That helps them hide. There are many types of pythons. They come in many sizes.
Pythons come in many different colors. Their scales can be yellow or white. They can also be brown, red, or black. Some pythons can grow 33 feet (10 m) long.

Pythons live in Africa. They also live in Asia and Australia. Burmese pythons have been found in Florida. Pythons usually live in warmer areas. They are often found in jungles.
Pythons are predators. They suffocate their prey. Pythons eat animals such as mice and rats. They also eat rabbits.
Female pythons lay eggs. Most mothers stay with the eggs. A python can live longer than 20 years in the wild.
