They
have

Raccoons

thick
bodies
and
bushy
tails.

claws.

America.

they
live
in
South
America
and
Europe
too.

raccoons

in
forests.

live
on
tropical
islands
in
the
Caribbean
Sea.
Raccoons

be
found
in
urban
areas.

eat
many
things.
They
eat
grains
or
seeds.
They
eat
lots
of
fruit
and
vegetables
too.
If
they
are
near
water,
they
eat
fish
and
other
small
animals.
Raccoons
also
eat
people’s
garbage.
Female
raccoons
have
approximately
four
babies
at
a
time.
Babies
are
born
with
their
eyes
closed.
Most
raccoons
live
only
two
years.
If
they
live
longer,
they
can
live
for
almost
16
years.
